today I'm going to retell the story of Yusra Martini an amazing swimmer.
So at first Yusra was terrified of the water she would watch as all her friends happily swam.
10 days later she is in the pool doing races and wining the pool was her favorite place.
Swimming helped solve everything.
But soon after some thing happened that swimming couldn't help.
Her country was at war.
She fought through the war.
Later she kept swimming and everything was back to normal.

ReplyDeleteWell done for writing a good recount about Yusra Mardini. She was very brave to escape from the war before it was too late for her. After the engine broke during their journey she swam for three and a half hours in open water to stop their boat capsizing. Did you know she is hoping to qualify for the Olympics in Tokyo this year. If you got to compete in the Olympics what event would you compete in?
