Todays task was to explore and research about vector art and how to make it.
Vector art is an animated piece of art.
Which means this pictures details are not made in a realistic point of view.
Where as raster art is the opposite,
raster art is a realistic image. It is a bunch of colored squares and seeing it from a far away distance can make it look like an image.
Anyway, the create challenge is to create a personalized christmas tree decoration.
My inspiration was waffles.
I love waffles and I can remember when me and my sisters would wake up early on christmas to eat delicious waffles.
What is your favorite thing to do around christmas?

ReplyDeleteRuby here, a commenter from SLJ. I love that you are experimenting with making animations! So cool that you made a waffle Christmas decoration. I think this might be an entirely original idea that no one in the world will have thought of. Do you think it would be possible to make real life waffle decorations? That would be bizare and hilarious, I think.
Anyway, did you have fun with the actual animation process? Have you got any other ideas of other animations you want to try? I'd be keen to hear.
You asked me what my favourite thing to do around Christmas is. I don't have just one thing that is my favourite, but this year I loved spending time with my nephews, playing a board game called Dogman, reading books, having pillow fights and zooming around on a go cart I made during the first lockdown that we had. It was all so much fun! You've inspired me though. Next year I think I might try to add making Christmas decorations into the mix.

I really enjoyed the explanation of the activity and how to complete it in your blog post. This would encourage your fellow bloggers to give it a go. I am really impressed with the level of creativity you show in your work. This looks like a fantastic Christmas decoration and it was so awesome that you completed it on vector art. Finally I really liked that you asked your audience a question. In response to your question, I love spending time with my family and cooking, I cooked a huge feast for my family. The Vector Art that you created looks amazing and I really enjoyed how festive it looks. Did you have a good Christmas?

I am looking forward to you engaging with the SLJ. There are alot of great activities. My favorite activities were the nanogirl activities, creating geometric trees and forced perspective activities.
