SLJ Concluding the journey

Hi!!!
I'm Peyton.
Welcome back to...
"Peyton's SLJ!"
today is the last day of the summer learning journey.
So I will be saying my favorite activity,
what they could work on for next year,my least favorite activity and three things I learnt.
So I learnt that you can make tapa out of toast.
And my favorite activity is Romeo and Juliet and my least favorite one was School strike for climate.
And last I think they could work on all of the activities that you can draw in.
But other then that it was great.
I'll see you next year.
Thank you.

  1. Kia ora Peyton,

My name is Laura and I work for the Summer Learning Journey. Jordan told me you have completely all the activities in the 2019-2020 Summer Learning Journey - all before Christmas! Wow, I'm blown away! You must have worked extremely hard!

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed doing most of the activities, but that there are a few we could improve for next year.

What are you doing for Christmas? I am going to visit my husband's family at Lake Tekapo - it is in the South Island. The lake is very beautiful. It is aqua blue, but it is also very cold so I don't think I will be swimming!

Do you like swimming? Do you go to the pool or the beach? My daughter Laila loves swimming! She is not even 2 years old yet, so she is very funny in the water!

Thank you for working so hard on the Summer Learning Journey again this year. I'm so proud of you for finishing and I look forward to seeing some of your comments on other students' blogs.

    Congratulations!

    Best wishes,
    Laura

  3. Hi Peyton

I've seen that you have finished Summer Learning Journey so have I, I liked how you do an introduction in most of your activities. When you said they could work on the drawing activity's did did you mean they can give eg and stuff.

Apart from that it was amazing
    Keep up the good work

  4. Wow Peyton you are so quick. From what you have blogged so far for the Summer Learning Journey I have really enjoyed reading.
Since you finished it so quickly is there room for improvement - some you might want to go back to and make pop more or work on the punctuation or...
It sounds like you have learnt so much on your journey. Thanks for sharing it with us.

  6. Kia ora Peyton!

I know that I've already congratulated you for finishing the programme on the activity 'Medical Mavericks', but I just wanted to reiterate that I'm really proud of you for finishing the programme and for coming first in the WHOLE country! Your sister would be so proud of you as well - what a great sentiment to her!

I'm glad that you enjoyed the programme and that you even learned how to make a tapa cloth out of toast!
As Mrs Campbell has mentioned above, perhaps you could use this time to improve some of your posts by adding pictures or drawings to make them pop! Don't forget that you can also earn extra points by leaving thoughtful comments on other learners' SLJ related blog posts.

Really looking forward to you taking advantage of this spare time!

    Ngā mihi,
    Jordan
