  1. Kia Ora Peyton,

Nice work completing this Summer Learning Journey activity, 'The Sky in Shanghai.' Wow, I really enjoyed this poem of yours. I thought it was very playful and creative. I like how you have chosen your first word 'weather' and then found other words to match, 'feather' and 'leather'. Although i'm a bit confused, I would like to know what leather you're talking about. However, I thought it was really creative when you wrote, 'Travel far, far from home. Where people think and think, think, think where shall I go away from this weather.' I really enjoy how you used receptiveness which added rhythm to your poem, this is very clever! You must be very tiny to be able to hide under a feather to escape from the bad weather. I'm imagining a little mouse as the character is this poem. Would you like to travel to Shanghai one day? Or anywhere else in Asia?

I look forward to reading your response.

    Thanks,

    Jordan
