Hi welcome back today I'm doing SLJ this activity is called off the menu there is a rule that people have to pay up to 100,000 dollars for over fishing and I have to tell you what I think about that rule and why I think it.
So I think that it is a very bad rule and it should not be up because people are aloud to go fishing cause then you can have fun and you can get free food and I'm sure that everybody loves free food.

You have a good reason to why you think overfishing is a bad rule, you're right when you say "people are allowed to go fishing". Fishing is a great activity that we have the privilege of being able to do here in New Zealand. Have you been fishing before? Did you enjoy it? Although it is important to remember that when we take advantage of our environment around us, often there are consequences. If we catch too many fish — this can lead to an imbalance in the lakes, rivers and ocean. So when the number of fish in these waters decline, it can also effect other animals that hunt for fish in the same area. However, the human population love to eat fish, so we have to work together to maintain the number of fish in the ocean, rivers and lakes.
