SLJ the black drain

Hi welcome back today I'm doing SLJ this activity is called the black drain how this works is I have to find two polluted rivers in New Zealand and say the name,the location and what people doing to help the river if people are doing anything.
So the first one is Hutt river,its in lower hutt and there banding people from swimming in it.
Last is Heath cote river,it's in Christchurch and people are doing nothing.

    Well done completing this Summer Learning Journey activity, 'The Black Drain'. Nice job sharing with us two New Zealand rivers that are polluted and for adding in an image!
    Gross, that water doesn't look very nice, does it? It's a shame to hear that they are banning people from swimming in the Hutt River. Do you know who are the people in charge of making these rules? Both the Hutt River and Heathcote River are great examples of polluted waters we have in our home county of New Zealand. How do you feel when you hear about the pollution in our country? Do you know some very simple things we can do each day to prevent household pollution from entering our waters?
