Hi today I'm doing SLJ this activity is called Persistent Pollution so how this activity is going to work is I share three new things that I learnt from a video about air pollution.
The fist thing that I learnt was there are different types of air pollution the second thing is that air pollution is also called smog and then last thing I learnt was producing air pollution can slow the rate of air warming.
Thank you.

Kia Ora Peyton,
ReplyDeleteWell done for completing this Summer Learning Journey activity, 'Persistent Pollution'.
Thanks for sharing with us three facts you've learnt from watching the short video 'Climate 101: Air Pollution'. Your first fact: 'that there are different types of air pollution', can you remember what the different types of air pollution consist of? You're right, also known as smog the pollution in the air actually *increases* the rate of 'air warming' or 'global warming'. Because the fossil fuels that are burnt to produce energy for us to use are then released into the atmosphere, and trap in the UV rays from the sun. Which is slowly warming our planet and its atmosphere.
Crazy, eh? It's important that we learn about the effects the human race have on the environment so we can work together to reduce our carbon footprint.
I look forward to reading more of your blog posts.
Thanks,
Jordan
