Peyton week 5 T4 2021 Distance Learning LCS

 


This weeks topic was innovation mini steam. My favorite thing to do was the all chili task. I enjoyed finding out how much days I´ve been alive. What did you think about my elephant electric toothbrush?

    Hi Peyton, really great to see you giving slide 11 a challenge. I like the strategy you've used to try and work out whether 3/4 or 5/6 is bigger. Great job on converting 3/4 into a decimal. Lets have a think about 5/6. So 1 split into 3 is 0.33... so 1 split into 6 would be half of that. Now times your answer by 5 to get 5/6. Which fraction is bigger?

    See if you can use the same strategy for 1.5 x 1/2.
