Hi welcome back today I am doing SLJ this activity is called Weaving a tall tale so how this works is I tell you whether or not I would like to try flax weaving. Does it interest me? Why or why not?Lets get started.
I would want to try flax weaving and it doesn't interest me I would want to try it because it looks fun and creative.

I'm happy to see that you'd be interested to give it a go, even though it doesn't interest you, and that you'd like to try it just because it looks like it could be fun and creative.
My whaea (aunty) taught me how to weave last year and I'm so thankful for the education. But it isn't only about making something with your hands that is cool, it's the conversation that you can have while you're doing it. My whaea and I spoke for hours about so many topics and before I knew it, I had woven myself a wallet! How cool, hey? People often ask me how I got my wallet and I'm really proud to tell them that I made it myself. Do you ever make things for yourself?

ReplyDeleteWell done for adding in an image! Don't forget though, we need to attribute images— that means that we have to give credit to this image. We can give credit to an image by giving it a correct name (for example: Image of scrambled eggs) and saying where it came from along with a link to the web page (for example: breakfast recipes).
