Hi Peyton, I can see that you have used place value partitioning in your think board by separating hundreds, tens and ones. You've also made tidy numbers by combining 47+63 to make 110. Have a look at your story problem again, I can only add up to 600 in the story. Also, have a look at your pictures as well. Instead of a + sign, what should you use to make the equation work?
ReplyDeleteReally good thinking shown in slide 9 by using doubling. Remember for the extra challenge, it is 360x0.1 = 1/10 (a tenth) of 360, so 360 divided by 10 is $36.

I loved the photos - you were really thoughtful because you chose things that were special to NZ like lolly cake... yum!!! Now you have made me want lollie cake!! I liked the way the photos overlapped but you could still see the pictures clearly. Tino pai.
